Photography Projects
Scavenger Hunt
For my composition I used put something in the foreground. I did this so that you could see the object and the background. I also liked having the squirrel the main thing in the picture. For the edits I did I changed the brightness of the picture. I also changed the vibrancy in the picture. I also changed the hue/saturation of the picture as well. For the background I cropped some of it out. I also made it a little brighter. I have learned that you need to try to focus on your object. I have also learned just more about how to use a camera in the right way.
Macro Project
The macro mode did work for me. The only part that did not work was that the flash kept going off but other that that it was good. I think putting them in the same document made it so some one could see the similarities. Also to let someone looking at it now that they go to gather. It also might be because it makes it look more professional like that. The lighting made some shadows off of the objects. It also made the objects light up. The light also brought life to the objects. My art relates to Edward Weston's art because they are both close up pictures. they also do because that make the objects look bigger than they actually are. |
Portrait Project
How I set up the picture is that I had my brother hold the door handle. The look I was going for a casual look. I also had him stare off in to the distance so you could see the side of his face. I also liked how the light from the sun shined on him. how got him to go it is I told him to just do stuff. As he did this I took pictures of him. I told him do do some of the things but most of it he did himself. The tip I liked was that to use the sun light to your advantage. I also liked the tip of how to position the model as well. One photo technique that I liked was on how to blur the background but not the model. I also liked the technique on how to get rind of acne.
Landscape project
The subject in the picture is the picture of Abraham Lincoln on the building. The location of the picture was in down town Peoria. I used rule of thirds for this picture. The focal point in the picture is Abraham Lincoln. To edit this picture I adjusted the shadows and highlights.

Cubism Project
One thing I did was I put a 3d effect on the picture first. Next I put color overlay squares over the picture but I did not make the main subject covered with the squares.
Double Exposure
I picked the two pictures that I picked because I thought that it would look cool with the woods behind hIm. The two pictures that I used was a picture I took of the woods and a picture that I took of Brandon. I think they compliment each other because the black parts of the picture you can see the woods really good.
